Medeco 4 Large Format Interchangeable Core (LFIC) cylinders are UL 437 listed to stand up to drilling, picking, and other forms of physical attack.
They meet ANSI 156.30, assuring patent protected key control and physical strength. And the ANSI A156.5 Grade 1 certification assures consistent quality for heavy use applications.
M4 LFICs allow cores to be changed without having to take the entire lock apart.
LFIC cylinders are often used in commercial applications where personnel turnover is higher and where rapid rekeying is needed.

Medeco 4 cylinders meet or exceed ANSI/BHMA A156.30 and 156.5 Grade 1 high security criteria, which includes testing for strength, durability, and resistance to surreptitious entry along with patented key control.
Medeco 4's cylinder design includes 4 Side Pins made up of 3 Finger Pins and 1 Lift Pin. The Lift Pin is activated by contact with the movable element in the key, providing a high level of pick resistance.
Patented key control provides protection against the unauthorized duplication of keys.
UL 437 listing provides assurance that cylinders meet universal standards for endurance, drill and pick resistance, and resistance against other types of forced attack.
Patented movable element in the key deters unauthorized 3D printed copies of keys or blanks.
Angled cuts on the keys, along with rotating pins, provide added dimensions that dramatically increase key combinations. Secondary side pin bitings provide even greater combinations, making very large systems possible.
Cylinder side pins and a lift pin which engage the sidebar prevent the key from turning until the elements are aligned in the correct position, protecting against bumping and picking.
If you are able to cut Biaxial or Medeco 3 keys, you are able to cut Medeco 4 keys on the same equipment.
Finger Pins work with Secondary Side cuts on the key to provide increased security and greater potential combinations.
Enable quick and easy cylinder change using a special control key to remove the cylinder (core) from the lock housing.

Return, Cancellation & Special Order Policy
Golden Locks Inc. sells professional door hardware, security products, and custom-configured items.
Due to the nature of these products, the following policies apply to all purchases made through our website or store. By placing an order with Golden Locks Inc., the customer agrees to the terms outlined below.
Order Changes & Cancellation Policy :
• Customers may request order changes, modifications, or cancellations within 24 hours of placingnan order.
• Requests must be submitted by email to CS@GoldenLocksinc.com.
• After 24 hours, the order may already be processed, allocated from inventory, submitted to thenmanufacturer, entered into production, or prepared for shipment.
• Orders canceled after 24 hours are subject to a minimum 25% restocking and processing fee.
• Golden Locks Inc. reserves the right to refuse cancellation if the order has already been shipped, manufactured, customized, cut, keyed, or assembled.
Custom Orders / Special Orders (Non-Cancelable & Non-Returnable)
• Many products sold by Golden Locks Inc. are custom-configured or special-ordered directly from manufacturers.
• Examples include Emtek configured hardware, Hoppe multipoint trim sets, special finish hardware, multipoint lock components, keyed cylinders, and custom door hardware configurations.
• Once these orders are submitted to the manufacturer, they cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded.
Standard Return Policy (Stock Items Only)
• Return request must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
• Product must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.
• Approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee and deduction of original shipping costs.
• Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
• Customers agree to the policies stated on this page when placing an order.
• Golden Locks Inc. may provide order confirmations, shipping confirmations, tracking information, and policy acceptance records to payment processors in the event of disputes.

• All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
