Medeco 32 Series Large Format Interchangeable Core
Medeco Large Format Interchangeable Core (LFIC) cylinders are designed so that cores can quickly and easily be changed by non-technical personnel by using a special control key. Locks can, in effect, be "rekeyed" without having a working knowledge of the lock or without having to take the lock apart.
Medeco LFIC cylinders are available in a variety of different sizes, formats and security levels. Cores are available to fit into rim and mortise cylinders, key-in-knob locks, padlocks and bored auxiliary deadlatches and deadbolts. The Medeco® 32 Series LFIC's are UL437 listed and provide drill and pick resistance and those that incorporate the Medeco 4 (M4) design offer utility patented control.
The Medeco 31 Series is designed to retrofit the Yale® LFIC mortise housings, rim, key-in-knob and padlock bodies and the 32 Series fits Medeco® rim and mortise cylinder housings, padlock bodies, Maxum deadbolts, Embassy knob and lever cylindrical locksets, and Simplex Unican.
Medeco® LFIC cylinders can be ordered with a variety of different cylinder technologies, including the features below for Medeco 4 (M4).
Features
- Cylinders can quickly and easily be changed by non-technical personal by using a special control key which will remove the core from the lock housing. A core with a new combination can then be inserted and the lock will then effectively be "re-keyed". All of this can be done without having to take the lock apart which reduces the expense of calling outside service personnel to perform routine lock "re-keys".
- UL437 listing provides assurance that cylinders meet universal standards for drill and pick resistance and stand up to other types of forced attack.
- The 31 Series interchangeable core has a control/locking lug positioned at the back of the cylinder. An extra long key activates the control/locking lug. This eliminates the need for build up or control pins thus simplifying pinning. It also allows the introduction of interchangeable core cylinders into existing master key systems that were not designed to accommodate interchangeable core pinning.
- The 32 series interchangeable core cylinders have the control/locking lug positioned at the middle of the core. This provides additional protection against dent puller attacks.
- The 32 series uses coordinated cuts between the operating keys and the control keys which eliminates the need for build up or control pins and simplifies pinning.
- Medeco cylinders are constructed of durable machined brass components, designed to last the life of your equipment.
- Patented Medeco 4 keys may only be duplicated by Medeco® or an authorized Medeco service outlet, and only at your request.
- Locks can be keyed alike, keyed different, or master keyed depending on your specific needs.

Order Changes & Cancellation Policy :
• Customers may request order changes, modifications, or cancellations within 24 hours of placingnan order.
• Requests must be submitted by email to CS@GoldenLocksinc.com.
• After 24 hours, the order may already be processed, allocated from inventory, submitted to thenmanufacturer, entered into production, or prepared for shipment.
• Orders canceled after 24 hours are subject to a minimum 25% restocking and processing fee.
• Golden Locks Inc. reserves the right to refuse cancellation if the order has already been shipped, manufactured, customized, cut, keyed, or assembled.
Custom Orders / Special Orders (Non-Cancelable & Non-Returnable)
• Many products sold by Golden Locks Inc. are custom-configured or special-ordered directly from manufacturers.
• Examples include Emtek configured hardware, Hoppe multipoint trim sets, special finish hardware, multipoint lock components, keyed cylinders, and custom door hardware configurations.
• Once these orders are submitted to the manufacturer, they cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded.
Standard Return Policy (Stock Items Only)
• Return request must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
• Product must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.
• Approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee and deduction of original shipping costs.
• Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Shipping Claims (Damage or Missing Items)
• Customers must inspect shipments immediately upon delivery.
• Claims for damage, missing parts, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
• Customers must provide photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
• Customers agree to the policies stated on this page when placing an order.
• Golden Locks Inc. may provide order confirmations, shipping confirmations, tracking information, and policy acceptance records to payment processors in the event of disputes.
Return Authorization Required
• All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
• Unauthorized returns may be refused.
